I don't know about anyone else, but I have been struggling with the truly ugly colors on some of the less expensive Graco models. If you are having the same problem, these colors are beautiful, nice pattern and very neutral. I am very happy. The changing seems more substantial than on the lesser models as well. The skirting is very cute and there is lots of storage on the changing station. Overall, I am very happy with the appearance of this model and everyone that has seen it loves it as well. The cons for this model are as follows: (1) I got used to all the other pack and plays having wheels and assumed this one would too - NO. (2) It is too wide to fit through a door without collapsing. (3) Some of the pack and plays allow you to unzip the mesh siding so you can use the play area below for storage; this one does not, (4) I wish Graco would make the storage case for these things like a rolly-suitcase - with wheels and a handle. We used it every single day for the first 9 months. It held up really well. I love the wood on it. The bassinet attachment is very nice. The material is strong. It breaks down easy and is not too bulky for traveling. I wish it did come with a better travel bag but given everything else and the look of it I can overlook that. It didn't take much for this to happen to me. Luckily, my son did not get hurt.. but moms.. take me seriously.. IT DID NOT TAKE MUCH. I would have marked no stars on this but I had to use at least one to make my comment in this review space. Good thing, or we would've returned it right away! We ultimately purchased the set in hopes of using the canopy along with the bassinet feature (in order to keep our cats from jumping into it). Upon reading the manual, however, we found that the company recommends you do not use the two components together. What's more, as my husband was installing the canopy for the first time, one of the poles easily snapped, and we had to wait several weeks for a replacement from the company. Though we had trouble getting anyone on the phone for days, we finally reached Graco via the Internet, and are glad to report that there was no charge for the replacement part, (...)P>Once the canopy was in place, we could see that the ceiling was fairly low, and though we haven't used it out of doors yet, it seems (especially with the dark-colored backing) that it could get very warm in there quickly. After discarding the useless directions and finally managing to screw on the front brackets, we discovered that the front poles just rest in slots and the back has tiny clips. So not only does it pop off when pushed by little hands on the inside, it pops off on its own as well! It will not stay on if your kid is able to stand, reach above the edge of the p-n-p, and push. Other reviewers are right on about the quality. VERY thin and not very soft either. You can see the pattern right through them. Now that we're expecting our second child any day and she'll be sleeping in the play yard for a long bit, I wanted to see what else was out there. I found the following brands at BRU, bought one of each and tried them on the bed. Here's what I found: Nojo: Terrycloth-like fabric. Soft but still a bit thin. They are elasticized though, which is easier to put on and stays on better. There were three colors available at the store (dark blue, light blue, white). Price $9.99 Graco quilted sheet: Very plush, though the fabric is synthetic feeling (I didn't check, but I'd guess poly blend). Most comfortable of any that I tried. If your looking to protect the floor from spit ups and spills this will never do. They are loose fitting which I feel makes them a safety hazard. For a couple dollars more, you can...buy a two pack of pack and play sheets made by Little Tykes. The Little Tykes sheets have elastic on the corners to keep the sheet snug. They are softer and thicker. And are well worth the money. I wish I had never purchased these Graco ones.
