All the bouncing mechanism does is make it harder for the baby to stand up. -The two toys hanging from the bar are sewn on, making them hard to clean. They could be cut off, but then you would have to use links or a ribbon to put them back on. -The convex slope at the bottom makes baby's feet slide out to the sides, meaning she constantly has to readjust her feet under her or she'd fall back against the seat. I would have preferred no bounce with a concave or flat bottom. -The height adjustment is in the seat. It is very easy to do, but it makes the seat shorter. -Snack tray. Really? Great colors and toys. The bounce platform is not rubber or flexible. It looked like it would be to me, but it is plastic with rubberbands underneath for the bounce. Overall a fun toy, good for early development of balance and leg strength. Along with a stroller/car seat, crib, changing station, and swing I could not do without this one eaither.Watch out though, as your child grows, ours at 8 months, could jump out head first and fall out (head over heels).
