It is solid, stable, and my 6 month old loves it! I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 due to a few small details: - decorations on the mouse and book are stickers, which I worry about him peeling off and swallowing/choking later -the leaf teething toy comes to a point at the top, while he is chewing and bouncing, it hurts him so my husband took it off Overall, I would buy this Jumperoo again. They could be cut off, but then you would have to use links or a ribbon to put them back on. -The convex slope at the bottom makes baby's feet slide out to the sides, meaning she constantly has to readjust her feet under her or she'd fall back against the seat. Along with a stroller/car seat, crib, changing station, and swing I could not do without this one eaither. Watch out though, as your child grows, ours at 8 months, could jump out head first and fall out (head over heels). This should have an age group limit or some kind of a strapping system. This is one piece of baby apparatus that gives parents their money’s worth. The Sit & Step starts out as an activity center for babies who can hold their heads up (at about 4 months). The center then converts to a walker for babies who are ready to take those first steps (between 9 and 12 months) or who are ready to cruise at top speed around the house. When set in stationary mode, the Sit & Step has nine toys that both entertain and encourage emerging motor skills. Toys on this amusement park-themed activity center include a silly funhouse mirror, a ball drop with slide, a roller coaster bead push, a rotating Ferris wheel rattle, a big top plastic-laminated picture book, a rattling bead pop, a frog squeaker, and an arched discovery center that makes music and sounds when babies activate the buttons. An indented area for snacks and a cup holder provides a place for baby to eat. The base locks into place so spirited babies can safely bounce up and down, rock from side to side, or spin. Multiple height positions raise the center as baby grows bigger. The walk-behind walker has a wide frame and fast-rolling wheels to fully support babies who are still unsteady on their feet. I love, love the feature that enables you to re-purpose this as a walk behind! My little guy teethes on the toy arch of this item. It is half yellow and half red. He only has 2 little bottom teeth. Then one day I was sitting on the floor playing with him while he was in this and noticed that he had a lot of red chips all over his mouth and inside as well. Kolcraft is willing to send replacement parts so long as part itself was not expensive. On the box itself it has a number to call for Customer Service and states not to return the product to the store because it can not be re-sold. I tried it their way by calling the Customer Service line and found that this company needs some serious help with their service techniques. Defective Parts: Tray & Base - the Tray latch that is attached by the manufacture at the plant had a stripped screw hole. This is a safety feature on the Toy itself and Kolcraft refused to replace this part. Walk Behind Frame - Left hand back corner cracked and chipped. They are willing to replace this part. At first he did not know how to turn, but now at 6 months, he's a pro! He loves the book, and I love the fact that you can put your own pictures in instead. The toys are stimulating, but not over stimulating. What I don't like is that the bottom is smooth and makes it difficult for him to grip, unless bare-footed.
