The mattress panels on the babygo sag, which frustrates our daughter (who's starting to roll) and isn't really safe or comfortable. It does pack easily and the bottom seems flat enough on the bottom without the bassinet. If you do get this unit, We DO recommend the changing pad. She's almost 3. I used it SOLELY as her bassinet at work and then her playpen at work for almost two years. There was NEVER any problem with the locking mechanism. It's about being able to read the instructions. If you lock the sides and THEN push the center down, you have no problem. People who don't understand how a modern playard work are the ones with the problem. She LOVED this playard, especially the little stuffed bear mobile.Because I own my own business, my space for my daughter's nap area was very limited. This fit perfectly and functioned perfectly. I love the nightlight and music box feature. It lulled her to sleep every day for almost 1-1/2 years. It's very portable, and I love the wheels on the end. Read more 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful  Not safe for a baby!!!, This review is from: Evenflo Madison Playard Complete Nursery (Baby Product) I bought this unit when I was 3 months pregnant for my son. I liked that the colors were neutral and could be used for either sex. I had my son 3 weeks ago, and used the playard for te bassinet next to my bed. After one week of use the bottom center of the playard popped up and one of the sides collapsed which tipped over the playard with my on in it. Luckily he was so small he only rolled into the side of the bassinet and did not fall to the floor. This incident could have been a lot worse. I called Evenflo's Customer Care Line and they will reimburse me for the playard. I would have expected this from a cheap unit, but not for the price I paid. I now own a Graco Pack n Play, which I love and must say is better manufactured in every aspect. I feel Evenflo should recall this playard to prevent further injuries. |
